Pros and cons of Video To Audio Pro - To mp3 app for iPhone and iPad

Video To Audio Pro - To mp3 app good for

I like this app. It works very well. It gives good quality audio from the videos, which is great because some songs that I like are not available in iTunes. This way, I can still have the songs I want if someone made a you tube of it. I can rename the files and I REALLY like that you can select the time you start and end the recording. The only concern I had was that when I connected my iPhone to my computer and went into the App tab, it looked as though this app was empty (except for videos). The only way I figured that I could add these songs into my song list in iTunes was to go into the app on my iPhone and email each song one at a time to myself. Then open my email on my computer, save the mp3 onto my computer. Then, from where its saved, I had to drag it onto my desk top, then drag it into iTunes. It worked, but it was time consuming. Then I discovered that I can actually send all of my converted files to my pictures app quite easily. This is useful because whenever I connect my iPhone to my computer, I am always prompted to open my photos from my phone and can access them easily. I could easily drag them from that file folder and onto my desk top, thus skipping that emailing step. The only thing is that the file names vanish and you need to rename them. The way you send the files to your pictures app or camera roll is to click the paper and pen picture on the top right of the converted files section, then select all the files you want, then click the check mark on the left, and it will prompt you with choices of what you want to do with the files. It will send a copy to your camera roll if you select that option. If you do the same thing in the media source section, you can send your videos to your pictures/camera roll, but again, retrieving them from there will wipe out their names and you will need to rename them. There is a section in the app that talks about iTunes file sharing and gives instructions for it, but it doesnt make sense to me personally. Maybe it makes sense to others though. Even though I spent more time explaining what I have had issues with regarding this app, I REALLY do like it and I think it was worth the money. It would be nice if improvements could be made, though, such as making it easier to transfer files to iTunes.
The product works out really well. When the developer decides to initiate on the phone transfer of files it would earn it a five star. What is a five star, is the great support from the development team. I reached out and got a response immediately on my issue which really was my understanding of the system. It was easier than I made it to be. Well done!

Some bad moments

Converted file is supposed to be in the documents folder. But where is the documents folder? The only folder I find doesnt have any converted files in it.
As far as converting video to audio this app does a fairly good job. Its fast and reliable. Playback of converted files is poor within the app. App must be running and controls are so tiny that its impossible to use. Audio navigation is terrible hopefully there will be improvements made considering its not a cheap app. FAQ text is hard to read. As of now I dont recommend anyone purchasing this app. There are better alternatives that are free. If any improvements are made I will change my review.
Terrible. I bought this app in order to convert one video file to audio in order to save it to Dropbox, as the video was too big. I downloaded the free version and waited for the file to convert, only to learn I could only save the file to Dropbox with the paid version. I downloaded the paid version and had to reconvert the file. When I tried to save the audio to dropbox, I was told I had to use the paid version. Nightmare. Luckily it was only $3.49, but Id strongly recommend against inviting this particular frustration into your life. That said, I tried the other two video to audio apps I found in my search and found them equally useless.
This is a great app! I use this app a great deal. However, in the update please make an option for us to save the converted files to our iTunes library. That would in my option make this a 5 star app instead of 4.
I really like this app but i think it needs a playlist feature to listen to all my songs at once
This app is great to transcode video and audio to different audio formats. Many settings.
